Hi, Aspen. =)

Welcome back. In terms of helpful tips and getting back into the swing of things, the question becomes what would you like to do?

There is a lot of flexibility on the site and no real definite goal. So some people may prefer to breed for high TP dogs, start new and fresh lines, breed for pretty coats, etc. The usual beginner progression is to buy more dog slots for more training sessions, buy a scholar collar and an energy companion to train faster, then start to work on getting some perks by buying bones with real life money or buying them through bone auctions with in game money. After that the world is your oyster.

Helpful tips on making money:

Making a trialing pact with two other users so you can organize which dogs you're going to use and which ones are just fillers. This fills up trials so that they run and everyone benefits from prize money. It's not a big issue at lower levels, but it'll be harder for trials to run in higher levels and the competition is fiercer too.

Buy a capped dog (8999TP) and get it trained. Make sure it's still young enough to trial and it's not been pre-trialed already or you won't gain the profits you're looking for. The easiest way to do this at the moment is probably trading offsite goods or currency for a dog, otherwise it's a pretty long term goal if going through the economy here. Another alternative is also selling/trading art..

Remember to collect interest every Friday from the bank. This is where upgrading your account really shines. You get 2% interest instead of 1% from a basic account and it adds up quickly.

(Misc tip) Perk priority order: (Trainer > Vet > Breeder > Merchant)

That's all I can think of at the moment, but if you have anything specific you could more than likely ask the newbie helpers in their hub. For now, I've sent you a scholar collar to get you started. All the best.
