Welcome to the Critique Arena! The rules here are simple, but very important, so please follow them:

1.) Follow all site rules for forum AND chat.
2.) Be respectful. Good critique is constructive: helpful and specific. 'It doesn't look good' is not acceptable. Rudeness is right out.
3.) If you want to post something for critique, you must also provide critique for at least two other users' posts.
4.) You don't have to be an artist to give critique. You only have to be able to know what seems 'off' about a piece, and why.
5.) You come for critique, don't expect fountains of praise. Don't take critique personally; it's about the piece of art, not about you. No matter how harsh a critique may seem, you always have the option to take from it what seems useful to you and leave the rest.

It would also be lovely if critics could give their critique as much detail as possible, and suggest solutions for the problems they see. 'The leg looks off' is okay. 'The leg would look better if the thigh was shortened slightly' is much better.

Have at it!

But I think that the paws need to be a little longer and the back leg needs more..definition :3

My Critique is below, but I'm not sure if anyone saw my post (Other than Kitty, who I know logged off) I'll post it again, just in case. :)

My Piece

My Piece for Critique

Larth:: The only thing that I must say, is the the right arm(The one that is not holding the cake) It seems a bit large to me, and may help the image if you make it a tad smaller.. Also, the right foot (The one facing the screen) Seems a bit large as well. The thigh looks to me as if it is fatter than the left thigh and paw.

Kitty: I really like your piece, the front paws/toes look large, and the face a bit fat. I think it is supposed to look like that, but to me that is just how it seems.

I'm not good at giving Critiques. I hope they helped though.

Blix: I think you should make the Pembroke furrier to make it look like the breed's outer coat. And I think the ears should be a bit longer because they are kind of short. :)

Blix theres a mark on the muzzle of the dog that looks off, i'm not shure if its to be wiskers or something but it just dosen't look right.

Kitty, your paws are a bit elongated and the right side of the tigers face is huuuuge. xD it leans also a lot to the left, if that was intended, it's ok.

Larth, the feet should be placed more heavily on the ground, like the weight of whole body is supported on them. The breasts seem to be a bit too high, or maybe the torso seems short. And yeah, it looks like a cat, maybe a longer muzzle would do the trick. :D

My piece for critique.

Blixy: the paws, especially the front right (viewer's left) paw, don't look grounded enough. I think the toes need to be slightly more arched to look as though weight is bearing down on them. Also, the right side of the neck, the outline could use some fluff to keep it from looking fat/thick instead of furry :) I just love the expression though!

Larthan: The face is a bit lopsided. There's a lot of perspective going on with the eyes, the farther one seeming smaller and viewed at an angle, but the muzzle appears to be almost facing the viewer, flattened as it were. I think a longer muzzle would bring out the husky/wolfishness of the character more. The hand not holding the cake is rather large as well - typically hands, when spread, are about the same side as the face. I do really like the dynamic pose, and the eyes are quite expressive :)

Blix and Larthan didn't have to critique because they were the first posts. Every following art post must also contain at least two separate critiques.

My piece for critique. :)
Please keep in mind that this is just a colored sketch, not a 'refined piece.' Therefore the lines aren't in place, and the coloring is 'messy'. looking more for anatomy.
