Legend Phantasmagoria (Always open)

Thaetaela is a massive continent home to four great kingdoms: the kingdom of the mountains, Shletzia; the kingdom of the dry plains, Aelututari; the kingdom of the ice lands, Neumassae; and the kingdom of the great river, Forbarti. In the center lay the ruined lands formerly under a fifth, fallen kingdom, Alurdae. Beyond these great nations' lands lay an immensely unexplored wilderness. Forests, deserts, mountain ranges, and savannas sit at these borders. Beyond those have yet to be seen.

The kingdoms are primarily to aid in giving a location and possible background reference for characters. Characters can be of any race within reason. There will be no set limit, but use a comfortable number.

Characters will need to be described enough to tell a name, what they are, about how old they may be, how they look, and anything they may so happen to carry. If certain details are meant to be revealed later such as a background story that shapes them, then it is fine to do so.

Feel free to join at any time.

Aristissa could almost hear the memory of her father's voice making announcements on the balcony outside her old bedroom.

Eyvey was watching, slightly shaking her head in disapproval.

03-31-2015 at 3:50 PM
The captain raised a suspicious eyebrow at Brysoni, his mouth set in a stern line. "That's not what I saw" and he would be completely right, but Bryson would never admit anything he had done. "You know, theft is against our laws." The tall man pointed out.

Brysoni kept his head held high, showing no sign of giving in. Though he would most likely be found out soon. "Of course it is" He said with a formal tone. "Theft is such a bad act, I don't know how people think they can get away with something like that."

03-31-2015 at 3:31 PM
Eyvey heard the Captain speaking even at the distance she stood at. She could see the vendor's face behind the two, obviously wanting to speak up, but he was also clearly nervous.

03-31-2015 at 3:12 PM
"Wait!" The order was barked from across the crowd, loud, hard foot steps following instantly after. With in seconds a tall man wearing clothes of great importance stood in front of Brysoni. He had no time to run, just stand there. "Excuse me, young man, did you pay for that?!" The accusation was clearly about the apple.

Staring at the man with no obvious fear or submission, Brysoni held a face of innocence.
"Of course, sir. I have no reason to steal" Brysoni lied, holding the apple down at his side.

Aristissa looked around a little and realized she was forgetting something. "Oh no," she said.

"Hmm?" Eyvey asked.

"We need to look for Anae," she replied. "She's absolutely inept at navigating in cities."

"Anae? She's your friend?"

"You know her?" Aristissa asked.

"Never heard of her. Is she young?"

"Only nine."

03-31-2015 at 2:36 PM
Keeping out of people's way this time, Brysoni dodged through the crowd, heading back the way he came in hope the group of people he met would of left.

Casting a glance around the market, Bryson spotted a figure of authority. He didn't know his name but just by the clothes it was easy to make out that he was not an ordinary citizen. Taking this into his mind, he turned his head and made himself walk faster, getting away from this captain.

03-31-2015 at 2:30 PM
Eyvey looked into the crowd again. "Look at that," she said with a sly point. "That guy is stubbornly simple."

"He's at it again? Wow," Aristissa replied.

After the swift move of sneaking the oddly shape fruit from the stall and into his bag, he was rather proud of himself that only few people caught a sudden glimpse of his movement. Yes, being tall was a disadvantage, but it also had advantages because he wasn't really told to put back the piece of fruit. But one wasn't something he wanted to take, he wanted to test it and take two, though he didn't have the one, he could still take another. He steered his tall body past others, shoulders bumping, soft but fierce words shared, but this didn't bother him any more than it should. His hip was centimetres from the wooden stalls. His hand casually at his side, but his palm dipped and his hand was in a cupping position.

His hand swiped down so his finger tips pushed the lower part of a smooth apple into his cupped palm, his fingers closing around the fruit as he lifted the apple to his lips. Hi lips parted as he pressed the smooth outer layer of the apple against his teeth, which soon closed and tore into the apple. Sweet nectar dribbled into his mouth as the chunk of apple swirled around his mouth until it was flushed down his throat. Leaving the soft nectar of apple juice coating his finger tips. He was completely zoned out to what was happening, not like anything good was happening. So he lost himself in the apple and it's taste.

He knew he couldn't just stand there and eat a stolen apple, other wise it was almost certain he would get caught even if people haven't seen him yet. Being cautious, Brysoni walked away with long strides, hoping to say as casual as possible so people don't think anything has happened.

Eyvey looked into the center of the market crowd and saw a very recognizable figure. "Just great," she said as if she wasn't happy.

"What's up?" Aristissa asked.

"It's Captain Jennison. He's in the market with his officers. Try not to get seen. He's not a fan with familiar faces."

"You say that as if you live here."

"I've been here about a month or so," Eyvey said.

03-31-2015 at 7:30 AM
Brysoni continued to watch them, well until he can get out of the ally before they see him going off to yet another stall. That gnoll, Eyvey, took 'his' food so he was going to get some more.

Just as he turned out and around one of the corners he heard part of their conversation. battlemage? He thought, though didn't say anything.

Brysoni walked through the crowd, trying to find something he could have as a decent snack, like some bread. It would be hard for him, being quite tall, but he took the fruit with only a few people seeing, and they didn't exactly punish him.

03-30-2015 at 7:13 PM
"This is probably an odd thing to ask at the time," Aristissa started, "who are you?"

"I'm Eyvey. I'm considered a battlemage," the white gnoll said. "Well, learning battlemage."

Aristissa gave Eyvey a confused look. "Battlemage?" She asked. "I haven't seen a mage, let alone a battlemage. But that stuff back there didn't seem like someone who's simply learning still."

Eyvey chuckled. "I was only using spells I have just about mastered. I didn't want to accidentally kill the guy. Besides, I am nothing compared to what my mother was capable of."

Aristissa didn't have much of an idea as to what the gnoll meant. "So, what are you going to do?"

"Take the fruit back to Toland."

"The guy at the fruit stand?"

"Yes," the gnoll finished.

03-30-2015 at 2:50 PM
"Only you people know what I have done." Brysoni flicked his wrist back as he touched the ground, the chain swirling around his wrist and up his arm.

"New city, new reputation" Bryson added with a sly smirk, walking against the wall but following them as his curiosity got the better of him. Though he wasn't dumb, he knew he had to stay quiet.

03-30-2015 at 2:24 PM
"Yet, unlike you, I have a much better reputation," she said before rounding the corner.

Aristissa was right being the gnoll.

03-30-2015 at 2:19 PM
Brysoni let out out a noise that came from the back of his throat, sort of like a low growl. This time he just looked past Aristissa and at the ally wall.

Twirling his silver chain between his fingers, he moved his wrist in a swift motion, towards a metal pole. He pulled gently on the chain as it wrapped around the metal like a snake. Bryson tugged a bit more so when he dropped to the ground the chain would keep him from dropping helplessly to the hard ground.

"Do you want me to go steal more, or are you going to give that fruit back?" Brysoni asked raising an eyebrow at this gnoll. "Because technically you haven't paid for it either, so it looks like you stole it." He pointed out.

03-30-2015 at 2:11 PM
She took the gesture with no second thought. "Rather simple, now, aren't you," she said as she began to walk away. "Be glad I caught you and not the guards. They wouldn't have been so forgiving." As she passed Aristissa, she tapped her to let her down and helped her not fall on her face.

03-30-2015 at 1:53 PM
Brysoni turned his attention to the young adult as she spoke. Of course it is unfair, what a stupid question to ask. He just shook his head disapprovingly at her and Returned to glaring at the calm gnoll.

Brysoni spat again at the creature, clearly showing hate. "And why would I pay for something that was so easy to take?" He asked with amusement in his voice. Though not so easy to keep, it seems He thought.

The fruit floated up and came to rest in the gnoll's hand. "It is much better if you were to pay for something you want rather than steal. There was a hanging three days ago for petty theft," she said.

"Isn't that a little unfair?" Aristissa asked as she tried to keep from moving about too much.

The gnoll sighed. "It is," she said. "But the captain of the guard is rather.... Strict. If I could've, I would've gone to the king about it."
03-30-2015 at 1:10 PM
Brysoni's eyes followed the gnoll as she dropped to the ground, glaring at her as she stared at him.

"Have a problem?!" He spat at her.

As usual he was grasping his chain, though this time holding it with more force as he feared dropping it. Though the bag he didn't need to worry about as it was all ready dropping faultlessly down his arm, bringing his pulled up sleeve with it.

The leather bag hit the ground with a 'thump', the single fruit grazing the ground as it rolled out the partly open top.

03-30-2015 at 12:43 PM
The gnoll dropped down to the ground while everything else continued to float. She stared directly at Bryson.

"This is one reason why I don't like cities," Anae said to herself. "Now. Where the heck am I?"

03-30-2015 at 12:26 PM
(Haha, I figured the Eyvey part, and the spell wasn't that hard to guess. But thanks for informing me anyway.)

Brysoni loosened his grip on the manriki in shock as things around him started to get higher, but it wasn't just things. A girl that was stood behind the White gnoll also started to leave the ground.

Soon enough, he too was getting further from the comfort of the floor. Objects around him came to be eye level again as if he was safely on the hard floor, but with out the weight of gravity pulling him down.
