Nicole whines looking up at Joker, "I should leave huh?" She fought back to hold her tears.

Jester didn't reply, trying to block him out completely. She got up and stared at the wall, a slight crack in it. She forced her paw in between the stone, then her muzzle, pushing it just open enough. She closed it back up, hiding the gap, and moved on, disappointed in herself and how she was running away.

Jack hesitates as his paws touch the grass, the musky smells of the forest almost blocking her scent<br /> {I need to take the risk} he things. <br /> <br /> He breaks into a run, finding the thorns.<br /> He spots a clump of pink and blue dyed hair.<br /> He frowns<br /> "She's been here." He looks around and spots the passage.<br /> "What the hell?" He thinks. He slowly crawls through the entrance, the edges of the tunnel rubbing off his fur.<br /> "Jess!" He calls<br /> "I'm sorry, okay?"<br /> "Just come on, it's dangerous down here!"

Jester growled when she heard his voice. <br /> "Why can't he just leave me alone..." She muttered, shaking the thorns away from her paws. Some of them were lodged in her paws, only getting worse the more she walked.<br /> <br /> She followed the tunnel, taking a sharp turn, which threw her into a dark room. She sighed and laid down, ignoring the plants and blood that stained the room.

Jacks eyes flash with anger and hurt as he lifts himself off the ground, his shoulder not doing too well because if the impact of his body on the floor.<br /> <br /> He runs after her, blocking out the pain from his Shoulder.<br /> He gets caught in the crowd of people.<br /> "Jess!!" He barks.<br /> He barges through the people, trying to follow her scent.<br /> His eyes flash with panic<br /> "No, no, no. She can't be out here on her own.." he growls.<br />

Jester looked at him in shock.<br /> "How am I supposed to believe you?"<br /> <br /> "Even if you say it was to 'protect' me, you should have told me sooner." She growled, pushing the thoughts out of her head.<br /> <br /> She launched herself at him, smashing her head into his chest. She shook it off and held him against the floor, one paw on his throat.<br /> <br /> " I don't trust you. Not now. Do you even know how much your 'protecting' me has messed up my life? I could have tried. I could have TRIED to be at least a fraction of you. Even if I never would be." She growled, her claws digging into his flesh, but not enough for it to hurt him.<br /> <br /> " You're lucky. You're lucky I actually CARE about you still." She muttered, getting off him, walking away.<br /> <br /> "I don't trust you anymore. I never will."<br /> <br /> "That stupid...stupid HUMAN girl. She should be dead by now. She doesn't deserve to be alive, for all the things she's made you do for her." <br /> Jester suddenly broke into a run, head down. A few passing people screamed as she ran through them, as she tried to get as far away as she could- which wasn't that far. As soon as she hit forested area, she skidded to a stop, her feet tangled in thorns. She growled and tried to twist around to smack at the weeds, but they drug her to the ground, dropping her into a gap, that seemed like a hidden passage.

Jack sighs.<br /> <br /> "Basically what happened was we were meant to be government weapons, used to take down criminals- like the Joker."<br /> <br /> "We are a cross between a Spotted Hyena Female and a Striped Hyena male."<br /> <br /> "We were bred in a lab. At 3 months old we were old enough to be tested on."<br /> <br /> "They tried to take you first, Jess. But I didn't let them.. I knew something bad was going to happen."<br /> <br /> "They took me and they tested on me."<br /> <br /> "One day they brought through something different, the drug for the final change."<br /> <br /> "They used it on me, and it made me grow, It gave me muscle, and it altered my brain."<br /> <br /> "We were both meant to be killing machines. By the time they tried to test on you, I had grown pretty big, and I attacked them when they tried to take you."<br /> <br /> "At that point they realised they had created a monster, and they shut the project down."<br /> <br /> "We were meant to be killed, and J had heard about me- us. He came, all intentions to get his hands on us."<br /> <br /> "J saved us from being killed, he took us away."<br /> <br /> "While trying to get out... you... you hit your head really bad."<br /> <br /> "It knocked you out, and I dragged you out. J didn't notice, he was to busy fighting off the doctors."<br /> <br /> "When J got us in the car, I tried to wake you up.. and you didn't."<br /> <br /> "You lost all your memory, J and I knew it was for the better, and we said to you and Harley that we were rescued from a Zoo."<br /> <br /> "Ever since we were cubs I've protected you."<br /> <br /> "That's why.. that's why I've been so horrible to you."<br /> <br /> "I'm scared of myself, I'm a monster. I can't control my anger, and it spins out of control sometimes."<br /> <br /> "I saved you from the torture of the tests, the transformation was painful."<br /> <br /> "I'm sorry, Jess. I kept it from you because I didn't want to hurt you." He mumbles.<br />

What are you not telling me Jack?" She forced her mouth shut, teeth locked together. Her entire body was shaking

Jack grins, digging his claws into her chest.<br /> "Face it Jess, I'm bigger, faster, stronger than you. It's the way we were made-" he clamps his jaws shut, realising what he said.<br /> "Oh, s***." He mutters, releasing his grip on her, letting her fall safely to the ground.<br /> He turns his head away, and closes his eyes.<br /> {Damn it Jack. After all these years you've blown it. Now you're gonna have to tell her.} he thought in his head.<br /> <br /> "Um. What the hell just happened?" Joker demanded.<br /> "You had her right there, Jack."

She stopped halfway through the door, and her ears perked up for a moment.<br /> <br /> "I was watching you the entire time. Why do you keep chasing after her?" She asked quietly, before forcing herself out the door.
