At Working GSD Kennels I am dedicated to bring you the Ultimate German Shepherd Dog. Meaning every generation I produce will be better than the last. This is achieved by training our dogs to the "Highest Potential(TP)" possible (maxing) to ensure they pass on superior traits to the next generation.

I do not contribute nor do I support the breeding or production of low TP dogs. When my dogs are bred it is to create a better generation then the last not to create inferior generations.

By purchasing a dog from Working GSD Kennels it is guaranteed to be of the best quality out of MAXED custom or foundation line stock, lowest generation for high TP and absolutely no line or inbreeding.

I will be following the breeding guidelines as to what I adhere to in real life unless otherwise stated. I am a dedicated member of the United Schutzhund Clubs of America and I follow the SV (FCI) original breeding standards of the German Shepherd Dog.

The United Schutzhund Clubs of America Inc. is a German Shepherd Dog Breed Organization guided by the rules of the organization of origin of the German Shepherd Dog, the "Verein für Deutsche Schäferhunde (SV)" in Germany and is strongly devoted to create and promote the German Shepherd Dog in its original breeding as a working dog. The United Schutzhund Clubs of America Inc. is a member of the "World Union of German Shepherd Dog Clubs" and accepts the bylaws of this organization in regards to the breeding rules of German Shepherd Dogs.


Temperament and Character


The German Shepherd Dog should appear poised, calm, self confident, absolutely at ease, and (except when agitated) good natured, but also attentive and willing to serve. He must have courage, fighting drive, and hardness in order to serve as companion, watchdog, protection dog, service dog, and herding dog.


Eye Color


They should be as dark as possible. They should have a intelligent and self-confident expression.
(Dogs with light or yellow eyes are considered faulty in pigment and are not desirable)

Nose Color


All dogs, no matter what their color, must have black noses.


Coat Color


Black with reddish brown, brown, tan to light-grey markings. Solid black, grey with darker overcast, black saddle and mask. Inconspicuous small white chest markings, as well as lighter pigment on the inside of the legs is permitted, but not desirable.

(Dogs with little to no black mask, Missing mask, light to white markings on the chest and inner leg sides, light toenails, and a red tail tip are signs of faulty pigmentation and are not desirable. White is not permissible.)

Stud Services Information

All my MALE dogs are available to any female regardless of color or TP as long as the bitch is maxed.

» I do not ask to be notified when the puppies are born. And I do not need pick of the litter or any puppy for that matter unless other arrangements are made prior to breeding.

» By a bitch's owner paying the full listed stud fee price they have bought the rights of said stud to produce a litter of said puppies of which they are now the sole responsible owners in the health, care and placement of said puppies resulting from the breeding.

» If a stud fee is to be reduced or waived the stud's owner (me) will there by take pick of or half of said produced litter as full payment to keep or sell to obtain reparation for said stud fee.


» As in real life breeding some breedings may not take. I will NOT refund your money on the first original stud fee. However, I will offer half off the next attempt. If it happens a second time in a row I will do a free third attempt.


» I do offer Chance companions to be placed on my males for breeding at the request of the bitch's owner. I will also lease a Chance to said bitch's owner for the breeding along with a rabbit if requested. (Please contact me to make those arrangements)

Behind the Kennel

I guess I should tell a bit about the person behind the kennel walls. I am a 25+ year old Female born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. Still here; unfortunately. Can't really decide what I want to do in life still sorting out my priorities. I pretty much have been in school my entire life. Lots of subjects highly interest me though the animal fields have always been my passion. I have taken and received degrees or certifications in Equine Science, Graphic and Web-design, Small Business Management/ownership, International Business and Animal Behavior and Training. As of currently I am pursing a degree in Medical Radiation.

I am currently the owner of Desert Plains K-9 Academy in Arizona. I am a school certified Animal Behaviorist and Trainer with continued education and specialty in Police Canine Theory and Training specializing on sent detection. I have a fascination on the working dogs ability to sent substances, track and pursue their objectives. The power of the canine nose is incredible.

I have been a trainer for over 9 years now. However, I am less active in training client/public dogs. I have my reasons and if you would like to know please feel free to message me. I do not want to extinguish anyone from their dream if it happens to be becoming a dog trainer but there are certain reality checks you should be made aware of. Again, lol not going into it...if you are interested in this type of a career please feel free to contact me. I love discussing all aspects in relation to the training field.

I currently have two working GSDs. My male Argus Nigel Von Der Held is as 8 year old German Shepherd Working Line Dog who I bought as a six week old puppy. He is H.O.T. dog meaning he is Handler Owner Trained. We compete in high level sport competition including but not limited to: Schutzhund, Rally, Dock Diving, Nose Work and Tracking. Argus has earned his IPO3 title and is now retired.

My other GSD is a spunky young female (10months old) named Notti Nola vom Adelhertz. She is my up and coming National Competitor. And with any luck after titling and health testing she will be the bitch to start my kennel line with.
