KaT, the blue and purple aren't natural colours on Ala, they're caused by people putting in negative numbers.

Also, while to standards, labs don't have markings, but to standards do you ever see a blue GSD or a purple Corgi? GSDs by standard aren't supposed to have any white at all. Mutts can be qualified for agility so true to standard color-wise isn't really on ala's list =3

No support :(
Labradors only come in yellow, white, chocolate, black and silver. It's far too plain, whereas other breeds like the APBT have many different variations and patterns.
The problem with breeds with little-to-no marking variety is that.. if this breed were to be released, there would be no point at all in making customs, because the store/auction-bought dogs would have the same appearance. There would be no bone-spending and dog sales would be clogged up with clone-dogs.

Aust, The Labrador doesn't have much markings to go along with, but maybe just a white star on their chest, like Tiger said. Also, Alacrity breeds dogs most qualified for agility.

Not to be flamed; just reasoning along. :3

I support. I own a Lab/Aussie mix and I would love to have her other half on here.

Also, this is a sim! Things can happen here that doesn't necessarily happen in real life. You could make a lab with several different colors and markings just as you do with any breed. We don't judge whether the dog's coat matches the AKC/UKC etc. standards.

I support.

Support. I actually like the idea of solid color dogs once in a while.

It's a bit more... realistic,

Poonie people are allowed to say they don't support something. Just ignore them if you don't want to know.

I for one am neutral on this, i think they would be kind of plain by Ala standards only coming in solid colors with only at most a white star allowed on their chest.

So far i've seen 5 people who don't support.

(seems only fair that the number of people who don't support get recognishion as well)
I'll be back at a later date to keep the tally up.

Support or Non-Support are both allowed to be posted.

If you want people to Support your idea, then you should be prepared for people to Not Support your idea.

Celestial, great site =3 Especially with the little panda puppy! =P

I still feel that if someone wants a dog with more markings they can go to a different breed. People who enjoy Labrador Retrievers and other breeds with less marking variety will have no problem with it.

Also
Other colors, mismarks

Poonie, everyone's entitled to an opinion. Don't get mad. And besides, what you're saying so far is offensive. >:(

I'm sorry, but no support. They're right; the markings on each dog make them unique, and we probably won't know which dog is which when people only describe the dog, not the specifics itself, and we'd get confused. Don't flame me please. :)
