His TP is above average which means that while it will take longer for you to train him, he can earn more money than a dog that maxes out quicker (with lower TP)
Also, to help save you money, don't enter him in trials until he is maxed. ^ ^

TP is traning potential or total potential. If you look at my dog whatchaacallit's page, his TP can be found on the top. His TP is 642. Meaning that when I train him, the value should come out to 642. Its easier to see this when you are upgraded so you can see each stat and see how much each one comes out to. with the training sessions you are able to train the dog ever slightly until you finish traning the dog :3
