It is a MMOG, or Massively Multiplayer Online Game, and has been around for more than 10 years!
The game focuses mostly around "anthros", which are two-legged animals that walk like humans. But, there are hundreds of places where you can escape the norm. One of my favorite dreams (a user-created place that you can make into anything you like) is called Yellowstone, and is a recreation of the actual park. Most players there use wolves or dogs, but they also have horses, otters, bison, squirrels and much more!

In other dreams you can play as unicorns, dragons, humans, fairies, cats, dogs, foxes, humans, chinchillas, or even a toaster! But the list goes on and on! If you are artistically inclined, Furcadia is even more enjoyable as you can create your own images and items and even avatars to use!

I've been on Furc for years. I helped run a pretty successful dream with a friend of mine once. I'm not on as much anymore, but when I am I'm on as Talespin or Two Socks.
