Dealership wants 4 days to replace a battery, is that normal?

Took my GLC to the dealer for its regular service and they flagged the battery as weak, said it needs replacing and quoted me a price that made me sit down. The worst part is they said they'd need to keep the car for three to four days because of "scheduling" and the programming side. Four days for a battery? I get that Mercedes needs the registration done but that feels excessive and I can't be without my car that long for something so straightforward. So now I'm looking at alternatives and someone suggested finding a certified Mercedes battery workshop in Downtown Dubai instead of going through the dealer every time. I've never used an independent place for anything warranty related, so I'm nervous about whether it affects my coverage or not. Battery Zone UAE came up in my search and they specifically mention Mercedes and keeping warranty intact, which is the main thing I'm worried about. Has anyone switched from dealer to independent for battery work and had issues later? And is the 3 to 4 day thing actually necessary or were they just squeezing me in around other jobs?
