My first dog?

Okay well, today I've bought my first dog, but i still have a few questions:

1.) What is best kind of Kibble?
2.) Well, the "basic training" thing is confusing me......does it cost money or somthing to train your dog...or what....I clicked on it twice and it said something like "You just trained you dog in 'basic' and gained 6 points" or something of the sort...what exactly does it mean? And is there any limit per day that you can train your dog? If there's anything else I need to know about that it would be great if you could tell me.
3.) How do I start agility and beauty contests with my dog, and what do I need to do it? How much money to enter one of those (if i need to pay money at all anyway)? And do I need to train before I enter them? If so, how do I train them?
