Phones getting to smart.

Okay I hate it when I go with my parents out to eat and they are both on there iPhones playing games on the e-net when I try to talk to them they go "shhh Im reading this.." or "I'm doing this...". Gah!
Phones were invented for communicating to people from a distance not "surfing" the web >:( Thats what computers were invented for.
Phones are now a days used for texting, calling, gaming, internet, and movies...and more. Why?!?!
