Transferring Between Accounts

I decided to try and send something from my new side account to my original account, and I was notified that that was not allowed. I wondered why it's that way, and if we need that. Other pet sites allow you to send stuff from one account to the other, why not this one? To me, it only confuses things. Anyone else thinking on those lines?
