Shading test
Outline: 2 minutes
Main pelt coloring & Shading: 3 minutes
Outline Clean-up: 3 minutes
Eye coloring: Less then one minute
Estimated time in all: 9 minutes
This was mainly a shading test...My mom who is a good artist(not famous or anything, but she's a good artist) told me I need to learn to shade...Anyway, this is a cat. :x No stealing, and no criticizing.
I forgot to color the nose...Oh well. DX

It's a good start. However, you should also take note of where the curves of the cat's head are and add appropriate shadows and highlights.

I'd do a redline to give an idea but I don't have permission... ^.^;;

A tip: Shading should make it look more 3D, so it shouldn't be a straight line, most of the time. ^^

It looks shinier then I wanted it. XD Should've either fluffed it up more or taken away the lightening at the top.

You're welcome! I don't really get how to shade sometimes. Right now I do it like you do, but I see so many other 'ways' (lack for better words lol)
