I feel your pain. The only way I can get myself to write stories anymore is if it's for a class (which still isn't terribly fun) or if I'm doing something for my shelter (I did a book of non-fic stories about dogs I met while volunteering, a children's book about an abused puppy who found a loving home, and I'm doing another one soonish about an abandoned dog who's been saved). I never just write for the fun of it anymore :( <br /> <br /> But you should definitely pick up poetry again! That's the one thing I could never get a handle on. My teachers even told me that my poetry was more like stories that I'd smushed into poem form XD
