Freeform Anthro RP: Chronologic Flaws

Rules
-No one liners. I understand writer's block, but please try to manage at least a decent paragraph, even with fast action scenes.
-No god-moding. In fights, you are not super-powerful. In scenarios that your character should be clueless, you don't get to have him just magically intuit what you already know. Etc. Use common sense, please!
-I don't necessarily want romance blossoming in this RP right away. My leading character is a little weird in the head...a relationship is not what he's looking for. If it's a must for you, this isn't the thread for you.
-I reserve the right to ask that you redo a post if it seriously steps on the actions of another person's post or doesn't make sense. Please don't make me do this. It makes me feel bad.
-Don't, please, don't hijack this roleplay. I hate when that happens. It's just disheartening.

My first post is kind of long, but I don't expect every intro to be like that...and I don't expect every post to be as long and descriptive as your intro! I'm just very, very descriptive. :>
