Flicker flinched as she felt another pain in her wing, remembering the real reason she came to town. She went down to Peace's Herb shop "hey, I was wondering if you have anything for wing pains?" she asked and waited while Peace made a remedy, while Flicker paid for the mixture and put it in her saddle, nodding her head. Her wing was wrapped in bandages. Even though it lost its use long ago, it still hurt more than the other scars she carried.

Flicker walked into town, studying the wide variety of shops. Most days she preferred staying in her dark home. The thoughts of past battles still haunted her behind her eyes. She remembered when she was Lieutenant Lightning Flicker, one of the best flyers and pegasi of the Royal Guard. She sighed and looked at her tucked in wing, bent out of shape and missing feahers. that part of her was long gone. She thought a nice walk through town would cheer her up, but she guessed wrong.<br /> <br />
