As much as I do feel this was likely racially...provoked, I think it's really quite ridiculous (not to mention highly immature) to liken someone to being "BFF"s with the KKK. Not only don't you have evidence, but it's highly unlikely that a suburb of Orlando (one of the largest and wealthiest areas in the state) would actually have any remaining semblance of a KKK chapter...

I can't believe this asshole. It was later revealed Martin was heading towards his father's home after buying Ice Tea from a nearby store. Martin was unarmed<br /> <br /> 5. What a disgusting piece of s.hit. How in the hell can someone deserve to be shot when they're not doing anything? I read that Zimmerman was an "obsessed" neighbourhood watchman.. what the hell was he watching for? Was anybody being hurt? Was anybody breaking in? Vandalizing? No, it was a kid walking down the street. <br /> Oh, and the kid apparently looked like he was "on drugs" and was just walking around with his hand in is pocket/waistband. This is apparently "suspicious". The kid had a can of pop and some Skittles and was just walking back from the corner store.<br /> <br /> He follows the kid and the the cops tell him not to, he continues, the kid runs (OBVIOUSLY BECAUSE A STRANGE VAN IS FOLLOWING HIM. I mean come on). The kid gets shot, screams for help and then another shot is heard. How in the f.uck is that self defense?<br /> <br /> This is disgusting. Beware next time you're walking outside with some pop and a bag of Skittles, some nutjob with a gun might think you're a criminal.

I agree. That is horrible that he very plainly sought after that kid and even after the 911 operator told him not to follow the kid. Sounds like all you need to do is wear a hoodie to be suspcious. Those tapes of him screaming for help are horrible. I don't know if you listened to the tapes yet of the people that dialed 911 along with zimmermans tape. He had no reason to confront the boy. All he was doing was standing outside. No crime was being committed.
