I daily a Mk7 GTI in tornado red and while it's mechanically solid, the paint has really let itself go since I moved to Abu Dhabi. Between the construction dust near ICAD where I work and the fact that I park outside at home, the red has faded noticeably on the roof and bonnet compared to the doors, which is honestly pretty depressing to look at. There's also a cluster of stone chips on the front bumper from the highway that I keep meaning to get sorted before they start rusting. I've been told there's Quality Volkswagen detailing in ICAD from a couple of different people now, which makes sense given how many VWs are in this area, but I don't want to just walk into the first place I see. What I really want to know is whether these places can match the red properly and whether they do anything for stone chips or if that's a separate body shop job. Also does anyone know if they offer any kind of protection afterwards because I'm tired of reapplying wax every few weeks in this heat.
