Permanent Spay or Neuter
Started By
I often retire dogs that don't meet certain critera.
However, I also know that some members would prefer that they be sold instead.
I would consider that if there were some way to make a spay/neuter permanent and unaffected by a magical dog biscuit.
Sometimes, dogs are accidentally inbred, or too closely linebred. Or players are trying to keep a line of theirs clean and rare, so that when they are looking for mates in the future, they don't come up with dozens of related dogs making higher TP breeding difficult.
So, instead of retiring, if I could make a spay/neuter permanent, I could sell the pups to other players.

Not a fan either. I use MDB to change the genders of my own dogs, not just dogs that were spayed/neutered.

Heres another idea to consider: Upping the price on magical dog biscuits, so you would really need to work to get them. Say, 500K or more each?

I'm with Clayton on this one--way too controlling. <br /> <br /> No support.

No support for Thy's idea. Trust me, I HATE when people breed my dogs unmaxed, put em up for stud unmaxed, overbreed, etc tec.. but it's too controlling.

I would support something like this, but it would be best called 'breeders rights'<br /> <br /> I think that, once a dog is born in your kennel, a check box should be made available on the dogs page, from that account only.<br /> <br /> the check box would have these options:<br /> <br /> Allow this dog to breed?<br /> Allow this dog to breed before being maxed?<br /> Allow this dog to breed to an inbred dog?<br /> Allow this dog to inbreed?<br /> <br /> And then a fill-in box, saying:<br /> <br /> Allow this dog to produce ____ litters.<br /> <br /> All of these would be visible to anyone seeing the dogs page, but only editable by the original breeder.<br /> <br /> <br /> I've seen far to many good dogs/lines bred without any training, or puppy-milled, or inbred to the extreme, I really hope breeders rights are implemented.<br /> <br /> If you don't like the restrictions on a dog, then look for a different dog to buy, I think most users on alacrity would be reasonable with their restrictions.

Support, and going with what Ev said. Selling high TP dogs would be better for me if I could do that. Most people who have the capped dogs sell them and then they are bred sooooooo many times. And sometimes, they're inbred and then there is a chance for them to be inbred as well.<br /> <br /> So this would definintely help

I've always wanted this, but it always gets shot down. I'd be more than happy to sell off some of my capped pups, but I can't ensure people won't just puppy mill them after that, so I don't.

This has been brought up many times before and people always shoot it down.<br /> <br /> I don't sell dogs because of spaying and neutering not being permanent. <br /> <br /> I support this.

"However, I also know that some members would prefer that they be sold instead."<br /> <br /> Chances are they enjoy the appearance of the dog and think it's markings would look cool passed on.<br /> <br /> No support.

Definitely supporting this, I would so much rather sell permanently neutered dogs instead of retiring them
