I don't really have an idea of exactly what I'd like to see changed, so I'll just explain my issue.

When my dogs are getting old, and start dropping to critical health most nights, I prefer to "let them go" before they get bad. Like one would with a real dog. And I did that for a awhile, however I noticed afterward that they no longer had my name attached to them when I viewed them on my tags or dog's offspring, etc.

I may be overly sentimental, but I just dislike seeing my name taken off my dog because I retired it. And in order to keep my name on my dog I have to let it die of natural causes.
