I thought for trip as short form of triple Oo Took the OldTennis Ball, because there are only 3 balls at the shop xD Err...well....I thought of a sheep first, but there is no complete black one.

I've never heard of it either. I was scrambling for clues to the oddball character on some kind of 'trip' like a journey.
Chance from homeward bound, for example (except there's no dog trial named after Chance xD)
This one made no sense to me whatsoever. Congrats to those who got it, though.

A group of sheep can be called any of these: drift, drove, flock, herd, mob, or trip. I pulled this information by searching 'names for animal groups'.

The online dictionary I always use doesn't link trip to sheep in any way. Flock it does, says it's a herd of sheep or goat. Actually it's not giving trip as a synonym of herd at all. So basically I had no chance, lol. Not everyone speaks English as their first language.

*Sigh.* I contend that that was a poor riddle, as a "trip" more commonly refers to goats and the Balwen Welsh Mountain sheep is black. Since nothing can be done about it now, I'll shut up, though. I'm just bitter because I expect things to make sense and most of the time, they don't.

As said before, "trip" is another name for a flock of sheep. "Flock" would've been too easy for you guys. And Black Face Lamb is as close to a black sheep as possible.

A group of sheep is sometimes called a "trip". Just weird grouping names like how a group of crows is called a "murder" :P.

Yes, would anyone care to explain the "trip" part? I looked at flags the whole time trying to go with a trip around the world type theme XD

The reason the answer was Black Face Lamb is because of the expression "The black sheep of the family."
