I thought dogs weren't supposed to lose energy or health while timestopped...but all 3 of mine lost some when the day rolled over and aren't gaining it back with time. Is this a bug?

Veltress that was how it was intended to be, must be a bug in the code, will get it fixed later today. :)

If we can't add items to the dog while it has a time stop on it, can they please be taken off the drop down menu of items for use then? Kinda like how a dog in an auction will not show up on the list when I'm using food.

I can not love this change more since I am a witness...or more or less,a victim...of the inflated Alacrity economy.The problem caused by overbreeding forces alot of breeder to lower the prices of their very good dogs...with high TP...even under $1000 to make them sold,which is,to me,very unfair prices.I do hope that after this change,dogs can be labeled with the price their deserve to have。

They can be removed, but not added, and stuff already equipped won't have an effect. It's entire freezing.

If no other items can be used, do companions already on the dog still do their boost? Also if you can't use items on the dog can they be removed from the drop down menu when using items?

No, because I've made it so you can only equip/remove per dog once a day, so to get anything done, you'd have to freeze one day, do something the next, etc, besides the fact you can't train/breed/trial while frozen. Plus, status quo is auctions are devaluing Lockets if you believe this item will, but this item will stop breeding while frozen, auctions don't, so it's getting better even if you still believe that.

If the dog is timestopped at a young age it will just about live "forever". And I mentioned the reset in my first post.. that includes entering a few trails right after then putting it on again. As for breeding same thing.. a stud request can be accepted quick and you can use insta pups.
The dog will only age very little with the short time after the reset to do things before the timestop is put on again.. pretty much the dog will live forever..

I dear hope that Corgi's, Pappies and JRT go up in price, I don't breed any of mine anymore because no one buys one D;

The locket's worth has not been cut at all, Ace. When the timestop is on a dog, it cannot be bred, trialed, etc. It is frozen. A locket dog gets to live forever while doing these things, and a timestop dog will still die.

Hit add comment before I was done without meaning to, sorry. Anyway, Rob I love what you're doing.. but I see too many bugs in the system and I am upset that the lockets worth has been cut so much since I spent real time and money collecting mine.

I wish I could tell you how to fix this problem.. that never should have been a problem. Without either making the mass players that froze dogs upset or making the people like me that spent time and money on lockets upset.
Good luck ♥ Let me know if I can do anything to help try and figure out something to make everyone happy.

I am new to Alacrity, but I am very happy to hear this indeed. I have already been frustrated for one, with the auctions full of "frozen" dogs. I think it will greatly benefit this website!

Sounds all great to those who don't own lockets Rob.. Won't the timestop have just about the same affect as the magical lifelong locket with the + of costing less and the dog never gaining age? Since.. if you timestop a dog at a younger age its health will probably always be pretty good. (meaning it probably won't die) Also.. I'm wondering.. will time stopped dogs get energy with time still? And at the reset? Will they get hungry?
Because right now I see it as the locket being worthless, I could get a timestop cheaper and have about the same affects and all this bonus stuff. Either way you put it.. if they gain energy it's about the same as the locket, but if you stop that to try and make it fairer you run into the problem of food... if the dog still gets hungry you can just feed it for energy. Then.. if you try to fix that with making the dogs never get hungry with the timestop, you run into the problem of.. a timestop dog costing less even more so as there would be no food costs for that dog. Even if you find a way to stop giving the dog energy with still having the cost of food you run into the problem of the reset. If you take it off right before the reset, let the game reset, train the dog super fast and then put it back on the dog will barely age at all... pretty much the dog would live "forever" at little cost with still being able to do a few trails and a good bit of training daily.
Really I find my 3 current lockets worthless now, or at least.. worth only a third of what they used to be worth. I also have used 3 lockets and am now regreting all the money and time I've spent collecting them.

That sounds fair. :) Thanks for giving us the two weeks notice, that *definitely* helps! I'm also glad to have 3 timestops now between the riddle and the upgrade item. XD
