I totally understand what you are talking about Kaeli. I have been seeing some of the things talked about in this post around ala lately. I think this was a great idea for this to be posted and thank you so much for taking the time to do it.

Yes, that happened to me when I first joined. I said, "Hi! I is new!" And (Not going to name names) said, "Ugh, these newbies all acting like caveman. It's spelled I'm new..." It was really annoying...

Yeah, I totally noticed all the negative behavior as of late. I tend to shy away from the message boards and even the live chat because of the different aura...

I know I along with most everyone else here appreciate the hard work that the admins, mods, newbie helpers and even the members put into the atmosphere of this site, and when I'm on this site it isn't just another website to me it is a place for friends, even the people I don't know well are still like friends here. And when people are disrespectful or negative towards you or just outright rude it damages the atmosphere of this safe place, and unfortunately just watching chat I have seen too much of it lately. I think this is information is helpful and necessary for many people and I'm glad you posted this and hope it helps the newer and older members keep it decent and friendly. I know we will all appreciate it in the end :)

Channah - you ask a very good question :) Words that are not edited out of user content by the filter are permitted, but it is the manner in which you use them that counts. Of course, we don't want to see foul language, but sometimes words such as "brat", "idiot", and even "turd" are needed to convey how we feel. As long as you're not being intentionally hurtful towards others by using these words, you're in the clear. For instance, it would be acceptable to say something like, "Oh my gosh! My dog was being a total brat! He wouldn't come to me when I called him!", however it would NOT be acceptable to say something like "Kaelizilla, stop being a brat! I can do what I want in chat!". I hope this clears things up!

Thank You! I think the way You even talk with Us about serious things is very kind. One of the main reasons I play this game is because of the kind people on here and I don't want that to change. It is so great to be able to ask a question and know that Your not going to be ignored or treated as stupid. You have let Us know that this is Our game and not just Yours and You have very agreable rules here. I am sorry there have been some not so nice complaining on here. I agree! There is too much complaining. I agree with the talking to family members/teachers/bosses thing. If you wouldn't say it to them, don't say it to anyone else. And I know how it feels to have my art disliked. I know how people feel when others don't like someones art or complain about it. If you don't have ANYTHING NICE to say, DONT SAY IT.

WOW! Why Would people be unhappy about the new riddle Icon? I think its realy cool. And the last one I felt was very selfish cause There basicely saying I want to win the geuss what game every time.

Thank you Kaeli, this was much needed. From the first day Ala opened to the public the community has always been welcoming. I am sad it has been going downhill.

This all should be expected, and it's wonderful to see it all set out here. This news post itself should almost be made a sticky or be put in to the FAQ or something so it doesn't end up buried.<br /> <br /> Sadly, the users that this might be directed to are not going to take it to heart. Along with respect comes maturity, and lately there was an influx of immature users. Respect and maturity can not be read about, it needs to be nurtured and taught. Unfortunately, those who are immature would not even take the time to read through half of this post.
