What age are the puppies of alacrity meant to be around? I've noticed certain things about them that are much more like an adult dog, than a puppy. Puppy paws tend to be smaller and more dainty, and their tails are usually much less fluffy and long, even if it's a fluffy breed. Of course, this all depends on the age of the pup you're going for, as well, which directs back to my question above. http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/nn203/paddyjulie/SN853723.jpg & http://www.puppy.com.my/images/regina001.jpg & http://www.denversale.com/photos/class/1258122305auk.jpg- The chest seems a little too wide to me for the pose and perspective, which could easily be fixed by the front right leg being moved downward. I think the head only looks small to me because the torso seems to be a little thick for the breed, and where the chest ends, doesn't seem to match up very well with the belly to me. The lines do seem a bit thick to me, but that's likely only because I've grown quite use to Carni's puppies, and my eyes tend to prefer the thinner lines on them so more markings are visible. I do love the expression of the puppy, and how the pose is unique to the other pups. Personally, I'd rather the old puppies stay the way they are. I like the JRT a lot, but maybe the Papillon could use a bit of touching up. Love the sheltie puppy pic, although had heart failure with the first one I saw was my fav pup, scanning all dogs for the scholar collar and thought Inky was kidnapped as didn't see in picture, realized when clicked link, puppy image has him hiding behind his companion!

I think we should have Xylax do the rest of the breeds as puppies and then redo the ones by Carni instead of just holding back the other dog/ puppy pictures.

I agree that redoing the other breeds should be broken up into a series of polls; the JRT pups are adorable as is, but some others could perhaps use touch-ups and the Paps have always seemed... off, to me.<br /> The sheltie pups look adorable with their pose and lolling tongues (though to be honest they look much more like aussies than shelties to me), and I love the fluffy tails! The eyes look a bit... deranged, in some cases, what with being tiny and round with the pinprick pupils.

What about husky pups?

I think it should be done more on a case-by-case basis. (i.e. certain puppies should be redone instead of all or nothing). Like borders I think should be redone, but I like Paps and JRTs as they are. I also think that the other breeds should be completed before any are re-done.

I love the sheltie pups Xy! &lt;3 and I really adore Carni's pups as well. May I suggest that perhaps instead of just asking if the art should be redone for the other pup images you take a poll for the specific breeds? like should we redo the art for JRT's, Borders, or both? I'm just curious if that might be helpful for all the different opinions out there. Absolutely wonderful art though!

I love Xy's puppy images, but I think that, the pup should be more in the middle because it is too far to the right, the eye should have a more bright expression and I think the ears are a bit too big. I love Carni's puppy images a lot, especially the JRTs.

The shelties are adorable! I think Xy would make an excellent puppy artist :) No offense to whoever made them, but I agree that borders should be redone. They are adorable images, but they just dont look like BCs to me.

all puppies are very cute, only one suggestion from me please make both eyes visible, so when you pick up a marking for right or left eyes you can actually see that marking ( just like Corgi). Thanks a lot for all your hard work!

Hey Xylax! Glad you're open to suggestions. May I request that, in the future, the lines are "cleaner". In the Shetland Sheepdog they seem a bit messy and all over the place, so I have a hard time figuring out the image of the dog, if that makes sense. Thank you! :)

I love both your art. I wouldn't mind which puppy artist there is. All that I do think that should happen is you both get to draw the puppies. So, we all keep Carni's puppies that she drew, and Xy could draw the other puppies that Carni hasn't done. II And, West, Xy wouldn't be re-doing the dog images, just the puppy images. But if you were talking about the puppy aussie verzion of it, there isn't one yet. :3

The Sheltie puppies are to adorable for words! I own a Sheltie in real life and she looked just like this when she was a puppy, just a cute little flufball. So great job Xylax! I just wish they were a tad bit more in the middle. Other than that, fantastic job on them Xy!
