Agreeing with Carni and Larth. I think it's awesome that we can buy items out of the shops instead of hoping we get them T-O-T'ing

Is it really so bad that due to certain circumstances, we decided to give you guys a TREAT by allowing you to have the items in the shop, guaranteed, before the event even happens (and therefore, it's exclusive and shiny and awesome, cause not everyone can get it yet!)? :( We did this because it was nice, and figured you guys would like to be able to get some of the items beforehand, instead of having to wait longer than we expected. This was supposed to be to make up for the wait. But then I guess we can't please everyone, so as long as the majority are happy, oh well.

Still. Excuse me for being annoyed, but doesn't Ala usually do the EVENT first and then release the items into the monthly shop so those that didn't get what they want from the event still can? Albeit at a high price but still. Rather than dumping them in the monthly shop and making it sound like that's the only way to to get them and there will be other items released later. That's how you made it sound. I know had it been mention in the actual post about the trick or treating I, and probably others, would have waited before buying the items. But I can see it doesn't matter so whatever. I'll just toss some capped dogs out and make my money back, and give other users a way to combat these prices. No skin off my bones.

Shadow, trick or treating is completely randomized, meaning you have no guarantee of getting any one item, and you only get to trick or treat once a day. When you buy from the monthly shop, you're getting a guaranteed item. And if you get a rare Halloween item via trick-or-treating, you also have the opportunity to sell it to others, likely for inflated prices after the event is all over, so in the end users will have every opportunity not only to get items, but also to profit off of them.

So you're saying the items some of us just paid an arm and a leg for will be obtainable for free from trick or treating? Would have been nice to know.

Don't get your zombie guts into a twist, folks. ;} There will be other ways to obtain these items once we get the Halloween event underway, such as through trick-or-treating, a small chance at a random event for the werewolf, plus we'll have some things in the Point Exchange shop when we get the Zombies vs. Survivors stuff going. As for prices, the costumes are priced 2 bones LOWER than what they were last year, and overall I feel it's very fair. You're free to disagree, but please remember that Alacrity can't afford to hand everything out for free all of the time. These are limited time items, available only for this month, and for the rest of the year the only way you can get them is if another user is selling them, and you can bet that after the month is over, these items will be selling for way more than what they're listed at currently in the monthly shop.

80k for some glow eyes? While I can easily afford that it doesn't mean I agree with the price. Particularly when its last years items, for the most part. It was much more entertaining last year when you could simply click a button and turn your dogs zombie/vampire free of charge. Granted then it didn't last. I did hear a lot of talk then that you'd be able to pay bones to have the change permanent, obviously that didn't happen. Would have liked to see some kind of event or a game to earn points of some sort to purchase all Halloween items, so they're available to everyone. Not just the rich. As of right now, to get just one of each item would cost the user 1830000. Can't say I know many average users who can make that much between now and the end of Oct But whatever, I know complaining isn't changing the prices. Just saying. If anything it would have been nice to see a bundle for vampires like it was done to the zombies. At least then I don't cringe at spending 80k just on bite marks.

Guys, these items are relatively cheap if you think about it. These are one-time items and they're selling for less than the summer sale items were. For example, griffins and whatnot were selling for I think..$400K [I'd know, I bought one] and these rares are going for HALF of the SALE price. Pretty cool if I do say so myself.

Yay stuff.
Oh.
Wait.
Never mind. xD
It's completely unattainable! :3
Ah well. Just moar things to add to my 'ohh one day i'll hit the cap and rake in the cash for exorbitant prices' list.

...On another note, I though we were supposed to have kept these [optionally] from last year?
