We\'ve not put Alacrity on downtime because we\'re relying on the issue hub for reports on what is malfunctioning that we would not notice ourselves. We are also looking at factors directly on site to see if it is working, because the database will not automatically show us if it is or isn\'t. I apologies for the trouble, but I can only encourage users who are not able to cope with the fixing process to take a temporary hiatus, as it would be the same as Alacrity being shut down since nothing on your account would be affected if you do not log on after the midnight rollover (which is functioning). Until then, we can only ask that everyone bear with us a bit longer.

I really feel stupid for asking this but I\'m curious, what is a cron and does everyone have one? My dogs are all fine btw, just wondering!

Paws, your dogs are only supposed to be \'active\' if you log in that day. Vacay mode would serve no use.

Kael, have you considered, after ALL the pleading requests about it, to just put Alacrity on a downtime?

There\'s no need to bicker, point fingers, or otherwise accuse anyone of anything here. These situations are hard on all of us, but nobody is at fault. As Jack has said, we are currently devising a system which would compensate for the loss of dogs due to the cron bug, but we are hesitant to roll anything out until such a time as we are convinced it is not still occurring. An update on the situation will be posted to the news as soon as we have one, but I promise you guys aren\'t simply \"out of luck\". Let\'s all just get on as best as we can until the final kinks are worked out!

Leave Aussie alone she is just defending herself and dogs. Same thing with me. But only 2 died. I wanted them back but no. I left for 1 day to go camping and rainbow died! You think I was happy to see my fave dog died? The reason most people play this is because you can leave for one or 2 days and your dogs will be fine because supposeably your account freezes. We seriously need to consider a vaca mode.

Aussie, you really didn\'t need to be so negative about it.. The staff is trying to fix this for us, and all we can do is be patient and appreciate it.. Step into their shoes then look at your comment. Pretty rude. ._.

We are still discussing dog deaths and have not begun action on it due to the fact that the 30 minute cron problem is still persisting in certain areas. :) We decided to return the items first whilst we are still fixing the issue, or your dogs will simply die again at the moment. Pessimism aside, if you check recent dog deaths via your userprofile you will be able to note that some of those dogs may have items displayed on their dog page that is more than a background and/or companion. It\'s worth reporting all IDs of dogs that have died to the issue hub and we will be happy to check items for you. Dog deaths are noted in your user logs, and you can retrieve the IDs by backchecking the names with the ones in your cemetery page.

OK so am I reading this correctly - if we lost a dog because the site was screwed up and we couldn\'t properly care for them it\'s our fault and we have to live with it? But if we don\'t have the items they died with your willing to address that issue? Great no way to be able to figure out what I lost if anything off the 18 dogs that died. Happy New Year to me.

i realize it\'s a minor issue and will be addressed later on, but just checking: staff are aware of the issue now of all \" and \' marks making slashes, regardless of where the marks are written? it\'s breaking links and image tags all over the place.

xD \"...took with them items to the afterlife.\" That\'s lol Kael.<br /> <br /> I\'m glad these things are fixed, but I\'ll be waiting for links to be righted. :3 I do hope they\'ve noticed; I\'m not really willing to submit an issue about it.

I just had 6 dogs die on me and they weren\'t that old. <br /> <br /> Are we going to have dogs that died as a result of this brought back as we did last time when we had cron issues? Because I\'m highly upset to know that my dogs health didn\'t go up and then I go online and see they are all dying and I don\'t have the time take care of them. :/<br /> <br /> But other than that, thank you for fixing this

Yeah I just got this error when I used the soapy bathtub on my dogs:<br /> <br /> Fatal error: Call to undefined function imagecreatefrompng() in /home/arobyn7/public_html/agility/doggycache.php on line 114<br /> <br /> It still worked tho so it\'s not a huge deal. Just thought I\'d let you know :]
