I call it Paddy's because I was born in Ireland.

In Ireland it's Padraig thus Paddy's

St. Patrick. Pat. Thus, Patty. Doesn't matter anyway, it's just a different spelling/pronunciation, we all know what it means.

why do americans call it "patty's" when it's "paddy's"? i've never heard it called "patty's" here in northern ireland nor the republic.
