These people may be just trying to scare you with the "sudden death" like one i saw while looking at funny pictures it told of a girl who would kill you if you didnt post it on 5 diffrent pics in 30 min.I didnt do that and im still living.

When I was a kid, these things actually came in the mailbox via a stamped letter.

I can assure you that nothing bad ever happens by ignoring these things.

But it surely does show just how superstitious people can be!

Calm yourself by realizing that this would be the top story on the news EVERY night if in fact, anything bad ever did happen.

I hate chain mail. I once got an email that was chain mail saying Bloody Mary would come and kill me. I tried to tell myself ghosts don't exist and that it was impossible, but I couldn't go to sleep. When I finally fell asleep, I had a bunch of nightmares.

The day you post this I got two exactly the same from to different people. On here.

I don't believe in this stuff at all. I see it all the time on deviant Art and other places. And I agree, nothing bad will happen. I never replied to any of them and I'm still alive. My boys are still alive and I'm still single lol. It's all a bunch of garbage and I don't like the chain mail myself. If it happens to me here I will notify admins immediately.

Thanks for posting a news update on this. On other websites I used to get them all the time, when I was younger. I burst into tears about one of them because it scared me that much.

I used to get those all the time in email from my friends who got freaked out and resent them to other people. I hate them (spam, not my friends) and I used to reply with things like PLEASE DON'T EVER SEND ME THESE AGAIN!!!!! I would realise after that I'd probably been too harsh, after all we were only like ten years old and those things are scary if you take them seriously. But I don't get them any more :)

Yes, please report any spam you receive. This will greatly help us wipe out this issue.

If these chainmail things were real I'd be a zombie and haunted by a demon ghost girl who hates me because I didn't send the emails.. a long time ago.
