Users are free to attempt to sell their accounts for USD so long as they're not selling bones along with it, or otherwise making a profit in real currency in exchange for bones. :)
That some players do that (sell or try to sell accounts for USD) doesn't have anything directly to do with this post, and isn't unfair. No one is required to purchase those accounts from them! After all, there are much easier ways to acquire an Alacrity account then by buying one from someone else. ;)

I have to agree. It isn't fair for a person like me, who's just joined a couple weeks ago, to actually play the game well because all I see are people overpricing simple objects for more than five bones. Then, on top of that, you have to pay one hundred real life bucks for someone's account, which doesn't make any sense to me either?
It's an account, guys. I've seen plenty of people selling theirs just for a handful of ALA cash, and they had all kinds of stuff on theirs, and they were happy starting over. It's as if most of the people on the site's forgotten the real worth of the site's currency, and how important bones are and the items that can be bought with them. Thanks so much for inforcing this, too, and I hope others learn from this. :3

Good you guys are re-enforcing the rule. It's pretty pathetic, selling non-existant virtual items that come up on a screen for real cash. It's insane! Not to mention, a lot of us are minors or don't want to use Paypal for this kind of stuff! Thanks for clearing the issue up. -Wild Ref

PS: Please delete this comment from the other topic, It was meant to be in this one. Thanks mods!

Not to mention - you don't have to have a paypal account to use paypal! On the right, there's always a "don't have paypal?" option you can click, and it opens up a menu so you can make your one-time purchase (on the side it says it's optional to join Paypal, you don't have to! It gives you the option to join after you've paid - you can just close the window at that point) and then move on. :3

Tsk, tsk that is just sad. Hope this news post would flash some light to those who are tempting this to stop what they're doing for it'll turn out bad for them in the end if not :(
