Hello Everyone!

We have two changes to announce tonight.

Firstly, we’re removing our rule on Mini Helpering. We’ve always been a site that prides ourself on our helpful, friendly, wonderful player base. We love you for it and we wish for you to be able to help new players as they come along. What we ask in return is that if you’re not certain of the question, or they have a few questions, or it’s complex, that you send our players to the issue hub. We also ask that you not ask our new players to privately message you or contact you for help unless you’ve referred them. This allows them to get to know our Helpers and learn to use the Issue Hub. We hope to navigate this change to great results!

Secondly, it’s my sad duty to alert you all on behalf of the admins that Kaeli has stepped down from Admining. She’s been a strong, amazing force both on site and in site staff, we’re certain Alacrity would not have managed through many tough moments without her calming influence. She’s a dear friend to me and to everyone who knows her. She’s not left Alacrity but she’s focusing on her busy life right now and we wish her all the happiness in it! We hope you will too.

Lastly, please make sure to vote for the Alacrity Mascot if you haven’t! We’re excited for him or her to come to life. Voting for the design will close at 8 pm Alacrity time on Sunday, after which we’ve decided to put up the two top voted designs in a vote off.

Hi Everyone!

After much debate, we’ve managed to narrow the choices for site mascot down to just eight dogs! This was extremely difficult as we had over 100 entries but we want to thank everyone who entered.

Before you run off to vote, please read the rules:

1) If you are the creator of one of our nominations, you can vote for your dog.
2) Nobody can advertise or solicit votes for a certain design or breed. That means please don’t advertise in chat, in forums, in the shout box. Do not pressure anyone to vote a certain way. If you’re worried about this rule, just keep your opinion on the designs to yourself. :3
3) If the dog is your design and you solicit votes for it, we will disqualify your entry, which we do not want to do!
4) If you are the designer of a dog, please keep it to yourself. We want votes to be on personal like for the design, not for the designer.
5) Vote for the dog you like best.

Once a design is chosen, we’ll put up voting for his or her name!
