This year you won't be seeing any of the Christmas items from the first Christmas on Alacrity for gifts or explore. However, we have some great new ones by our artist staff this year! I know I already have a favorite, do you?

Explore is open, have at it! For those who aren't familiar with it, explore gives you 5 explore turns every 30 minutes, with a max of 30 turns at any time. Here you can find all sorts of items and cash. In the bone exchange you can exchange 1 bone for 20 extra explore turns, if you feel the need to play in that snow-covered Alacrity wonderland longer.

Gift giving is also open, one of our great Christmas events. You have 5 gifts to give each day, so choose wisely! If you wish to trade gift giving with others, please go to Chatroom B to see if anyone would like to trade gifts with you. You can open 1 per day for now, since it's not Christmas yet!

We're happy to have this holiday time with all of you guys, your presence on Alacrity is the best present we could ask for.

Hello again, Alacratians! We want to express that, while we do appreciate the great amount of help you provide in filling up the wiki with useful additions, please be sure that what you are posting is indeed factual, and not based upon opinions, rumors, or hearsay.

This means, while it is not okay to post that, for instance "Rosencrown is the absolute best dog on Ala!" (despite how much many of us would agree!), it does not represent an accurate depiction of the dog in question, or why it is a part of the Wiki page.
A more adequate post would be, perhaps, "Due to her high stats and domination of trials, Rosencrown, owned by our own admin Jackdaw, tops the Top Dawgs list. She even has her own Random Event, where she steals some of your own dogs' kibble!"

In short, we'd like to ask that, despite your enthusiasm, please be specific and accurate in your contributions.

Please remember that the shout box is for advertising on Alacrity. This means you have to offer something for whatever you're asking for.

Asking for training sessions, items, gifts, etc while offering nothing in return violates our General 11 begging rule, which you can read more about here. We have a lot of generous people here on Alacrity and the only way people can be generous is if you let them give without you asking for it.
