Oh dear… it looks like our mascots have got all lonely and want people to draw them!

So… we’re going to hold our very first art contest! All you need to do? Draw our mascots of course! They can be doing what ever you want, on their own, playing with your dogs, eating cake… whatever! Just be creative!

Contest will end 6th September, and will be judged on creativity and concept, rather then pure skill. So better work fast, and good luck!
1st prize: 11 bones
2nd prize: 5 bones
3rd prize: 3 bones

And as a bonus contest, poor little Mascot has been waiting for a name for so long, that she would love it if someone could finally give her one. The winner will be chosen by poll (from a whittled down list), and will get 3 bones, along with bragging rights.

Unfortunately there’s going to be a slight delay with the new monthly items. The monitor to the PC holding my files, has inexplicably stopped working, meaning that I can’t access them until it’s replaced (hopefully sometime next week). Turns out, letting someone suffering from bad luck touch your stuff, is a bad idea. Go figure.

Until then, I’ve managed to salvage some poor resolution screen caps of the items for you. Ignore the martins, I was playing about and didn’t notice I had two companions on at once. =)

If we could get a round of applause in here for our hard-working Riptide (#106) who has resigned as a moderator due to real life activity such as school and that sort of yucky stuff, it'd be greatly appreciated, she will surely be missed. Besides the great work and time she put into the site, she also helped with various writing parts of the site such as the FAQ skeleton. :D
