Here be Corgis
How Corgis came to be with mortals
Legends say that Corgis were created by faeries to pull their carriages and be their steeds. The proof is in the saddle-like marking on their backs. There are many variations of this legend, though in a nut shell, Corgis came to be with mortals when the King and Queen of Faeries were out for a ride and fell off of their Corgi steeds. The Corgis, not realizing this, kept running and got lost in a hollow where they were found by a farmer's boy who took them home. There the Corgis, who were puppies when found, grew up and learned to help on the farm by herding cattle. The rest is history.
