A Sled Dogs Life
I was born a sled dog i was raised a sled dog i will die a sled dog. I had a mother and a father both i love very much. I was born in a litter of 8 4 males 4 female i am one of the 4 females. I was named Crystal, I was then sold to another Sled Racer. I never had as much love as my mom and dad gave me but i had other dogs to play with. I was with an abusive sled dog racer hed beat us when we didnt go fast enough. Later during a race my broke my leg i couldnt move but he forced me on i made it last place atleast. My owner hated me for that he then left me to starve in the middle of a sow storm with a broke leg. I was then found by aother sled racer he found me useful he went me to go get ym leg checked out and healed it. He then bred me with a fully whilte husky named shasta who was his favorite sled dog. a few months passed i had 6 puppies 1 female 5 males. My owner sold them to homes and got me fixed so i could continue to race. A bad day came during a race my owner had fell he wasnt breathing we were left to strive by are self with only each other for warmth and protection.
We all made it we went to the shelter were it wasnt cold we had ended up in Kentucky. We were all adopted me and Shasta went to te same home we were eperated from the rest but atleast we foud a home. A few years later Shasta becamee Digonosed with Cancer he soon had to be put down. Soon enough i got older and older i died of Old age.
