Make sure you take the time to read the Rules and the TOS, which are linked at the bottom of every page, and then check out the "Help" section of the site! The dictionary will help you with some commonly used abbreviations and terms on Alacrity, while the FAQ contains a lot of really great information that'll help you out with the site basics. Be sure to check out the two videos and three guides linked in the FAQ! You'll also find a link to the Alacrity Wiki there, which is updated regularly and is a wealth of information about all the items and dog markings here on Alacrit, among other things. c:

If you have any questions that aren't answered there, or that you can't find the answer to, head on over to the Issue Hub, located under "Help Alacrity". Send your question to the Newbie Helpers, and we'll be sure to respond as soon as possible.
