OBS: I\'m so sorry if the layout is completely messed up according to your computers. I\'m not sure at all if I did them right so please bear with me.
-:- WELCOME -:-
Welcome to Torpet, a small-scale kennel breeding mainly Border collies (well.. eventually, anyway, I just started out). Torpet is a swedish word for a small homestead, cottage or just a small, old house out on the countryside. Which, coincidentally, is where I imagine this little kennel to be located :3

-:- About me -:-
So, me. My name is Saga, I\'m from Sweden as you might\'ve guessed by now. I go to an agricultural school and I major in equestrianism, if you will, meaning I spend my days around horses most of the time. Horses are my passion and they have helped me get through many rough patches in my life, always given me strength and a will to keep fighting.
I am now the unbelievably lucky owner of an appaloosa (for all non-horse folks, that is a spotted horse that is commonly associated with native americans and the wild west). I met him many years ago and he gave me my self confidence back. In may 2013 I got the chance to buy him, which I did :) Nenes, as he is called, is a sweet, but oh so stubborn horse that considers english riding to be dull and is much happier when being ridden completely tackless.
But I\'m not only a horse-freak, I also love dogs. I used to have this wonderful tramp, a husky/jämthund/hamilton hound/labrador mix. She didn\'t like many things, like obedience or playing fetch, but she loved running, and she was somewhat nice.
Sadly, she passed away may 30th.
Right now we have another dog, a gentle giant named Lukas. He is a big golden retriever (believed to have some GSD and labrador in him too) with the sweetest heart, he\'s a big baby.
I\'ve also got two cats. One is my own, she\'s completely mental that one. She carries her tail across her back, so the tip of the tail is between her ears. She eats whatever I eat and is very fond of fruit and veggies; including grapes, avocado, oranges, mandarins, cucumber, tomatoes etc etc etc. You get the picture.
The other cat belongs to my mother and she is somewhat reserved and prefers to mind her own business most of the time.

-:- The kennel -:-
So. Seeing as I\'ve been a member since only the 13th july, I haven\'t really gotten anywhere with my kennel just yet. I have grand plans for it though. I want my dogs to be healthy, successful, well-tempered with natural colours.
At the moment I have three BCs, Lucy, Quinlanna and Viska. I\'m looking for a suitable mate for Lucy so I can breed her as soon as possible.

-:- The graphics and such -:-
I did my graphic and coding myself, which is why they are both utter messes. The layout was done in Photoshop Cs3, where I do most of my drawing as well. Since I\'m a complete horse geek, horses are my main only motives ;)
The dog on this layout, that I did in all haste possible, is my sister\'s colleague Bill. He\'s a working BC owned by Fjällbete where my sister works, and he spends his days herding sheep basically.
I took the picture myself with my Nikon D90 using a Sigma 70-300mm lense. :)
