Ah haha,you're welcome. I'd suggest reading the Help section and the Help board to cover upcoming questions,though. Not that I'm too lazy to answer questions, it's just that I tend to explain things..let's say more complicated and detailed than sometimes needed. ;)
You see that "bar" underneath the header image (of a dog, likely a German Shepherd with Alacrity 'Sim of Century' on it) with some "words"? Those words are sections that have sub-links. I guess you already know about it because you managed to buy dogs :b Just making sure. Anyway, your inventory is listed under "Earthly Goods". -simple-
Companions are just items that you can buy or find through random events.
Okay okay,uhm.. Let's say you bought an Alley Background from the stores. The Background (item) gets transfered into your inventory, all you have to do is to click that item in your inventory and choose the dog in the drop-down menu you want to equip that Background to under "Select Action". Afterwards, hit "Use Item" and you are done.
However, you should keep in mind that a dog can only have a single companion and background eqquiped at a time.
Alright ... play all games, answer the riddles correcty, offer services (such as drawing tags for others [art services], coding layouts, training dogs..), breed quality dogs and sell them for profit, participate in contests, enter trails with high skilled dogs so you can earn price money, put most of your money onto your bank account the day before every Friday so you get interest, sell unwanted items/dogs. You may as well donate to get bones and sell them for Alacrity Dollars. That's pretty much all I can think of right now.

well, at the top of your toolbar there is a help button and scroll down to the breeding section. it will tell you all the requirements. but to actualy breed the dogs, go down on the stud's page all the way down, and click breed if it's your dog. if it's not your dog, you can submit a stud request. :) but it's always best if both dogs has maxed out all of its training so the pups will be maxed and worth something if you decide to sell them. :( it takes time but it's best. (but it's not required) and hmm... yeah, make sure to use the pup predicter many many times before you breed them, okay?
Well, I don't know much about putting the whole thing together and all the codes and such, Tilted Scene does that. The picture I took myself, that's my dog, and I asked Tilted to use that and turn it into a layout.
I had the same problem with some of my old dogs. :P Had to sell them for much less than I bought them for from the breeder. C'est la vie..
Other ways? Well, which ones do you know?
My tip, don't waste all your money buying too many dogs. Trust me, I'm speaking from experience. x)
yay! welcome to alacrity! :D remeber to navigate the site for random events to occur, and play games everyday to earnz moneys :3 for breeding dogs, make use of the pup predicter and search tool and forum tools! :) has funz! :P
To buy supplies for your dogs scroll over Earthly Goods up at the top there and click main stores. Sometimes the stores are out of stock so you might have to check back!
