Part I. The Secret That Contains A Thousand Souls:

Katt sniffed the air of the damp unknown. It smelt of stale-meat and mud-follow. She looked around, her claws at the ready. Why did this cave have such an eerie feeling to it? She wondered. Katt raised her massive black paws and bolted across one end of the cave to the other. She had to find him. She had to. Where was her beloved Moe? “Moe!” she roared loudly, her big yellow eyes franticly searching the endless tunnel for her lost love. “Moe?” she screeched. Her heart started to stop. She could feel her powerful legs collapsing beneath her. Tiny dots appeared to dance in her vision. She then fell underneath the weight of the dark cave like a rock and fainted.

When Katt awoke she felt a large figure settle down beside her. So close their fur brushed against each other and their whiskers twitched in unison. Her eyes slowly started to clear the dots. She looked warily at the unwelcomed stranger. He was a large black panther. Her vision cleared fully. He had one white ear and one white leg. His tail was no longer than a stub. A stub that was perched atop his bottom like a Weiro- mushroom. Katt purred with satisfaction when she realized she knew this stranger. “Moe.” She whispered, her eyes searching his. Yellow against yellow, to loved ones locked in a gaze no other cat could understand. “Katt.” He murmured, rubbing his massive cheek bones against her muzzle. “Where were you my love?” Katt whimpered, looking him directly in the eye. “I was looking for you my dear.” He purred. Katt sighed. She didn’t care how he found her, she was just glad he was here. Katt felt Moe’s tail wrap around hers. She curled up close to him and let her eyelids fall. Finally, she was at peace.
