Hai, guys!
I'm sorry it's taken me so long to return to Alacrity, but I finally have a chance to say a few things: a few months ago my husband physically assaulted me (yes, a few months after we married). I was left absolutely shattered, scared to leave the house, and an anxious mess, I've finally obtained meds and counselling and am on a much better track, again. But with this, I realized I am not stable enough to manage a huge and wonderful site like Alacrity. Kaeli has done a fantastic job of managing absolutely everything (even trying to code and accomplishing quite a bit!) and of course the ever wonderful Carni heads up all of the art staff, quality control, monthly idea suggestions, and EVEN manages to squeeze in tons of art!
As far as the site sale, I put the site up not for price reasons - but looking for a stable owner/management system that can channel Alacrity into a worldwide phenomenon and expand on it's solid foundation as a sim site. I believe prices are meant to stay private, but I turned down multiple substantially higher offers on the site because Henry indicated great skill, managing other games as well as being a business man with clear goals in mind. Assured that no drastic changes would occur and the natural growth and lean of the site would stay the main focus, I believe Henry is doing a fine job so far and we've managed server moves and staff merging fabulously.
I will still be here programming for Alacrity and helping us grow, more so now that my personal life has become less complicated. I apologize sincerely for the stagnancy of things around here lately and tomorrow I will begin programming!

That's terrible Rob, no one deserves to have things like that done to them. Glad to hear you are recovering, even if it is slowly, and my love an support goes out to you changing your life for the better <3 Ala is obviously in great hands, since most people didn't even know you'd sold Ala until the news post. I'm excited to see what y'all have in store for us! :)
