However, you should actively start thinking about how to get over these feelings, since they are only a burden. BUT not yet. Let yourself grieve, and feel the feelings you are feeling. After a few more days, try to start interfering your feelings with rational thoughts. How does not seeing my other dog actually help? Why won't I go out of my house? But you will probably never forget what happened, you'll just learn to live with it.
