Aust, I wouldn't say that. I mean, people get peacocks from random events and such, and companions are occasionally put up for auction, while i've never seen a Red Cross Fox for a rare item auction.
It's just as rare as any companion.

The red cross fox was given out a while ago to the players who had been active that month ^^ I forget when it was given out, but they are not in the monthly shop, and probably never will be(:
