Vampire Roleplay!

alright, well, since i cant find a good enough vampire roleplay to join, i decided to make my own! it's a simple, quite generic vampire roleplay set in new york city.

there may be humans too, but this roleplay mostly revolves around the vampires and their lives. romance will most likely be involved! it may be either human<3vampire, human<3human, or vampire<3vampire.

a huge note: this roleplay is not based off of twilight or even anything relating to twilight. the vampires in this roleplay are ACTUAL vampires. they actually have fangs, they are not pale white as ghosts, and they are vulnerable in the sunlight.
~vampires do not "burn" in the sun. they are weaker, yes, but in the sense that they can fall victim to a heatstroke and/or sunburn more quickly than humans. their eyes are also much, much more sensitive to the sun. but vampires do not "burn." they can stand as much as three to four hours before any real damage is done to them.

rules for this roleplay:
-please no mary-sues. in other words, do not make your character the strongest, most beautiful, or flawless. nobody is perfect, and vampires are FAR from perfect. example: "my character, (name here), can breathe fire, has wings, and is so beautiful that all men faint when they see her!!!!!!!!!" no. do not do that. if i notice some more than one "mary-sue" quality, i will most likely ask you to change it up a bit, as this is a realistic roleplay surrounding vampires.
-no more than three characters please. anymore would be a bit difficult to keep track of, no?
-this is a semi-literate roleplay. all i ask is that anyone who enters this roleplay types with at least decent syntax and with proper grammar and punctuation.
-no arguing OOC oh my god there is nothing i despise more than watching two people argue when we're supposed to be having fun roleplaying.
-no roleplaying explicit scenes and/or swearing! this thread would be at risk of being deleted if any of that is seen.

that's it for the rules i guess. if i need to add anything else, i will and everyone will be informed of it.

the character entry form:

name:
gender:
race:
~if human, please include their race. if you are a vampire, include their race before they were turned.
age:
appearance:
>hair color-
>eye color-
>height-
>weight-
>clothing-
>skin color-
~note: vampires' skin is normally a light purplish color (normal color) to a somewhat darkish blue-violet color (from recent consumption of blood). for your character's skin color, it can range from light purple to a medium violet, unless they have recently fed, then that's when the dark blue/purple color kicks in. that eventually fades away to your vampires normal skin color. it also depends on your vampires race before he/she was turned. for example, a vampire's skin may be a brownish color with a pale purple/blue tint, if they were to be african american.

my character:
name: cameron scott
gender: female
race: cameron is a vampire, and before she was turned, she was russian.
age: she was turned at the age of 22. she is now about 184 years old.
appearance:
>hair color-dark brown
>eye color-caused by vampirism, her eyes are a piercing reddish-brown/hazel color.
>height-about 5 foot 7 inches
>weight-150 pounds
>clothing-cameron wears a dark black t-shirt with a dark green hoodie. boot-cut jeans and red sneakers. plus her long dead grandmother's ankh ring.
>skin color-cameron has always been pale as a human, but her skin changed to be a bit darker and more light blue-ish.

so that's basically it i guess! have at it!

Andrew laughed a little and followed her out "Why thank you ma'dam" He said sarcastically "Hey I never got your name" he said, realizing that when he told her his name she never revealed hers. He didn't like being this close to friendship with someone but part of him felt more... at peace knowing he had a friend
He had a point. "We should probably leave this place. People are probably wondering why we're just standing here talking as loudly as possible." With that, Cameron effortlessly half-flung, half-pushed the door open and waited.
"Hurry up, slowpoke. I'd like leave sometime soon."
Andrew looked over the small group of people in the shop "If I was desperate maybe" he said and glanced up at her "If I were anyone else in this room, I'd probably be" he said. Andrew never liked the taste of coffee, maybe it was just part of being a vampire, maybe he'd never like it if it'd been around when he was human
Cameron laughed.
"Well, would you drink cold coffee?" She crossed her arms over her chest and sized Andrew up. He didn't seem threatening; more on the side of being soft. She liked his accent, too.
Andrew stood and and moved a step closer so they weren't halfway across the bakery from each other. "I'm Andrew. Weird a New Yorker like you would waste perfectly good coffee. Not like they're spiders in there, love" he said.

(Didn't know about the love part because I'm pretty sure that's what some Brits say way back when :P)
As she left the cafe, Cameron heard the strange boy say something to her. She turned around, eyes narrowed and one eyebrow raised inquisitively.
"And who are you to question me about what I do, Mister?" Cameron shot back. She didn't mean it in a harmful or defensive way. More of a sarcastic and playful way.
Andrew watched as the girl threw out her half filled cup and left, watching as she neared the door. He turned to her as she passed by him "most people wouldn't waste a perfectly good coffee" he said, though regretted his words as they exited his lips. He barely knew this girl, yet she seemed different from most new yorkers.
A sudden thought occurred to Cameron. 'Your coffee's getting cold, idiot.' She blinked, and stared into her cup. The steam that was previously rising off the surface of the liquid was completely gone, and her hands were no longer warmed by the sides of the small cup. 'Well, so much for that.' Cameron tossed the half full cup of coffee into the nearest trash can with a grimace at the sudden aftertaste on her tongue and headed towards the shop's small door.
Andrew looked to the side to see the girl who was sitting in his usual spot studying him and grimaced before turning away. He wasn't really a social butterfly nowadays. Way back he was, before he saw all his friends age and slowly disappear from his life. So he gave up losing people. He studied the paper that was wrapped in with his new outfit. it was the rules and ways to greet a customer. He read it over and sighed. He hoped his new job would at least offer some comfort for the day. He looked at the outfit as well.It wasn't much of his style but he could get used to wearing it. The store was more high end, with expensive names. He sighed, staring at the wall in front of him, lost in thought again.

The door to the small cafe creaked open, triggering the small bell directly above it and slammed shut almost as instantly. Cameron looked up to see a boy walk in. He had clothes bundled under his arm. Cameron didn't mean to, but she stared, studying this boy, the scowl on his face, and how he took a seat at the table to the immediate left of her. She shifted uncomfortably; people don't usually like being within five feet of her. This boy didn't seem to mind all that much.

(haha, its fine! happens all the time with me)
