Joker/Jack/Star. 1x1 w/ Star.
Joker starts the car engine and he drives down the driveway of his safehouse in LA. A massive white building with marble flooring, much like his one in Gotham City. The car roars as he revs the engine. "Ready, Jack?" He asks, laughing as the hyena lets out an excited cackle. He lets go of the brake, and the Veydor's wheels screech as they spin out and speed off. He speeds through the city and dodges the cars in his way. He takes his eyes off the road for a second and he hears a thump. He slams the breaks, and sends Jack flying through the windscreen "Jack.... you no good heap of fur! I just got that fixed!" Joker huffs. He gets out of the car and looks at the Hyena getting to his feet. Joker walks behind the car and sees a girl lying unconscious on the road. He groans and runs a hand through his green hair. "Oh, great. Jack, we are in trouble." he growls. Joker was trying to keep a low profile, of Batman finds out he was on vacation he'd be stopping him. Joker lifts the girl and puts her in the passenger seat. Jack jumps in, squeezing in uncomfortably below her feet. {Trust you, J. The veydor only has 2 seats.} he thinks. Joker slams the acceleration pedal and the car speeds off and he heads back home. He sees the girl begin to wake as he drives. "Oh. Greeaaat." He growls, looking at her.

Joker shrugs and waves them off, frowning.<br /> <br /> "Well. You've seemed pretty keen to escape." Jack points out.<br /> <br /> Jack turns away, shaking his head, his teeth bared. Thoughts were going through his head, about his past.<br /> <br /> His eyes flare with anger and he runs into a tree, deliberately, and his nose starts to bleed, blood flowing into his mouth. He collapses into a heap on the ground, snarling.

Star started off towards where she smelled a bunny. 'Oh Joker you don't know what he likes do you..' She murmered in his head. <br /> <br /> 'Escaping was not on my mind.' She said to both of them before she followed more clearly on the trail. She caught up and quickly killed it. She pushed it towards Jack. 'Not that hungry.'

Joker looks at her and raises an eyebrow.<br /> "Very Nice." He comments, looking at the wolf.<br /> <br /> Jack stares and says<br /> "Pretty."<br /> "I don't care. There's no pain left any more." Jack says.<br /> <br /> Joker laughs.<br /> "You're right about the human race." <br /> "Pathetic, weak." He spits.<br /> "That's why I plan on fixing it." A wolfish grin shows on his face.<br /> "I'm not a monster, I'm just ahead of the curve." Star continued to stroke him till they got out of the car. <br /> <br /> Looking at Joker she laughed. "A hybrid oh honey no. Those despicable things were my offspring's bad breeding. To many humans in the line." <br /> <br /> She thought over the fact of shifting in front of Joker but shrugged her shoulders might as well get it out of the way. She laughed wickedly before allowing the change to wash over her. <br /> <br /> A bright light lit through her body before in her place stood a wolf about an inch taller than Jack. She looked at the joker and shook her fur. The fur sparkled in the sunlight as if gem stones were imbedded in it. <br /> <br /> 'Master or not you're a wild animal. Show him one day.' She said to jack. While in her wolf form her voice went to that of her wolf's and it was deeper and wiser sounding. <br /> <br /> She turn her head towards Joker and huffed. "No cage can keep her Joker. I was the second in my life of the werewolves. There are no hybrids in me. I was a wolf they chose to become human and protect your pathetic race." She spat. <br /> <br /> Her wolf was sassy and mean. She had an abhorrence for the human species.

Jack flinches at her touch and sighs.<br /> <br /> Joker rolls his eyes.<br /> "A hybrid, sweetie."<br /> "Jack only acts this way when he's around Nicole. But you already know who she is, don't you?" He grins.<br /> <br /> Jack sighs.<br /> "I don't care how he treats me. He's my master. He saved me." <br /> He looks at her sadly.<br /> "It's no ordinary cell." He mumbles.<br /> His eyes were full of anger and knowledge but he says no more.<br /> <br /> Joker pulls up at the driveway, and parks the Veydor in the garage.<br />

Star pet Jack's side. 'I know the pain..' She mumbled in his mind<br /> <br /> Flashing her eyes to Joker she growled. "Mind kind? What is my kind eh? You know nothing about me. As for batman? Hes a child in a suit mourning the loss of his parents trying to take over LA because he gets money to do it." She said while using her hand in his speech to get her words out. Her wolf barking in her head to accompany what she said. <br /> <br /> "So what if i'm seen with you worse thing they can do is put me in a jail cell and those things are easy to get out of.." She huffed before looking at her arms, her skin was growing tighter her wolf wanted out. <br /> <br /> 'It's not nice to have someone treat you like that. He probably thinks your stupid and don't have a mind of your own.' She said to Jack before yelping slightly.<br /> <br /> "Uhm can we get to the house a little faster? Please." She said to joker as her wolf pressed further on her mind.

Jacks eyes flash with a mixture of anger and pain and he opens his mouth, about to say something, before going silent.<br /> <br /> Joker sighs, rolling his eyes.<br /> "I don't think you understand."<br /> "Typical. I'm the Joker."<br /> "You know what that means? Batmans always somewhere."<br /> "News spreads fast, and he now knows that you've seen me- and he'll hunt you down."<br /> "And when he's finished with you. He'll send you somewhere where people like you get locked into a tiny cage to be Experimented on." He growls.<br /> "You're staying with me, sweetheart."<br /> "I don't want to be caught and I know you don't want to be either." He frowns.<br /> <br /> "I'm fine." Jack says.<br /> "He's done worse." He sighs.<br /> <br /> {You're already in her head, J} one of the Voices say in Jokers head.

She looked at him sadly. 'It's never fun and games when you kill someone who has a family because most of the times the kids are left with no parents at all because the mother or father goes into depression..' <br /> <br /> Star glanced at Joker and rolled her eyes. "Everyone has secrets dearie. As for my mind it's already broke you can't make it any worse than it is."<br /> <br /> "Oh and you don't need to keep me safe. I've been doing that for the passed 200 years." She said on impulse before she clammed up realizing what she said but she shook her head and slightly stroked Jack back. <br /> <br /> 'Not very good fathership when they put you out the window of a car..' She said to Jack.
