Pirates or Cowboys?
One of my friends says that cowboys are way better than pirates will ever be, but I don't believe her. And my other friend says pirates are so much better.
Opinions? C:

No, Tiger, but they could at least hop off their horses and go bathe if they found a stream. Pirates didn't even have the option. Both were probably gross, but I'd say cowboys likely had at least more chances to bathe.

Plus, there's the whole thing about...yanno, pirates weren't like in the movies. They didn't try to woo young women and recruit healthy men with clever banter. They forcibly TOOK the women and killed the men that got in their way.
Fantasy =/ reality...so cowboys.

Roo you think days, weeks and months in the saddle riding across the wild west herding cattle to market lends time to great hygiene?
While both the pirates and cowboys portrayed in movies and other media are both highly idealized, exagerated, and largely fictional, I would have to say pirates are better. XD

Hm... Tough choice. I love pirates (am actually taking a class on them - and it counts for credit >:D), but I probably have to choose cowboys because pirates had questionable hygiene standards. o.o All that time at sea, pillaging and plundering - there wasn't much time for necessary things like bathing. >.>
