Pirates or Ninjas?

This is a lighthearted debate, obviously~

My friends and I were sitting in the hallway and chatting before the bell for our first class, and this subject came up. I say that pirates are better, but they say ninjas. We asked around and most people said ninjas compared to the few that said pirates.

Sooo... I felt like bringing it here x3 Who do you pick and why?

I pick pirates because:
-they come in crews, ninjas fly solo
-they don't need to follow the rules :P
-they have beastly ships, with cannons
-weapons: swords, guns, cannons
-they don't need to hide and catch someone off guard to attack and defeat
-cool words/expressions (yarrrr)
