Reasons to Send your dog to a shelter
Honestly, some of the reasons I've heard from people are completely insane and could be fixed so easily. Some like- "Oh we weren't expecting him to get that big!" or " She's just too energetic." or " Too much hair!" make me soo angry! They should have researched the breed, I mean, if you get a great dane, duh it's going to get big.
I'd like to hear input from others (:

That's true, although most of the people I've dealt with (and I'm only 13!) end up getting another dog because it was sooo cute! and they just had to have it.

Having been with the local shelter for 3 years I've heard some of the craziest most illogical explanations.

Even "Too old", or elderly people who dropped off puppies for being "too energetic"

I guess if you are an optimist, the dog won't be in the hands of a ridiculous owner any longer.
