Dog Lease Contracts [for Training & Breeding]
This is an idea carried over from another dog sim I used to play. Basically have you ever had to send a dog to someone to train it and then worry about them not giving it back, breeding it, selling it, disappearing from Ala? Yeah? Then this is for you!Purposes of Contracts:
-Safely lease a dog to another player without worry of ability to get the dog back.
-Limit what they are able to do with leased dog.
-Allow safe sending of dogs for training.
-Allow safe sending of bitches for breeding.
-Allow leasing of dogs for trailing purposes.
-Items "frozen" on dog [unable to be added/removed]
Time Limit on contract
-Owner can set amount of days/weeks the dog is going to be leased out. After time runs out owner may reclaim overdue contract.
-Player dog is leased to may send dog back after no longer needed [ie after breeding/training/trailing is done]
Other Features:
-Contract notes can serve as an agreement between players, ie agreement to max dog. Once contract is accepted this is agreed to. May serve as evidence of agreement between players [easier for mods to deal with scamers or broken agreement with clear evidence]
-Contract payment attached TO contract. Contract creator can choose to pay [ie for training] or be paid [ie for breeding].
-Report Contract, kinda self explanatory. Just a link that allows contract to reported to mods in the issue hub in case of scamming or such [ie player accepting contract for training but not training dog]
-Leased dog would be noted on dog's page [This dog is on a Contract]
-Leased dog would exist in the kennel of the one who accepted the dog.
Now then, I mentioned that this does exist on another game. It works very well to prevent people from stealing dogs, and promote leasing of bitches for breeding. I also have some screen shots of how it works on that game for perhaps better explaining than I can do. I do not expect Ala to ever copy this game [trust me Ala is 10x better!] just the way that it visually looks may be helpful for understanding :)

As you can see there are options for allowing breeding or not, changing the cost, canceling the contract, and an expiration date of the contract upon acceptance.
