One of my crazy ideas...O.O
Ok,this will sound crazy, but we need mechanical dogs. I'd like it if maby there could be this specal gene pool that hasn't been opened on alacrity, say,a pup born with specal stats then breeds with another dog then... robot pups are born! Maby the robot dogs could be only one generation of it (Specal stated pup breeds with normal pup=robot pup breeds with normal pup= cyborg pup) and after that it'd just be cyborgs. But,any pup born with those specal stats again will have robot pups. They could be any breed, and all the breeds could have a robot form but they'd all look different. :) Place your votes-

Aside from them being unrealistic, I think this would be a cool idea.

Sorry, I don't support. While some fantasy is fine on Alacrity, I think robo-dogs is going a bit too far. X} Now, if we ever do, like, a mecha-theme for the monthly shop we could do a robo-outfit of some sort (this isn't to say we'll definitely do this, but it's just an example), but definitely not a robot breed.

I am sorry but I dont think this is a good idea. Although it sounds awesome, this is a realistic dog sim. Perhaps this would go better on a sim that is more fantasy based. :)

Some pros I've thought of- The dog can be more easily trainable, since it would be robotic. The dog could be painted any color since it would be a paintable surface. Pait wouldn't come off,so you'd have your paint job untill you removed it,maby with a new item,or good Ole' Cl33ne Slate. :) Paint could be considered "Dye" and you could use the fur product on the machine,or you could make a whole new line of paints, but my best thought is you just take all the dye colors, and have a paint brush on the side of the bottel,to diferenchiate between dye and paint. And,my favoright thought,it could make your dog more customizable, say, some specal dress items are fancy gears to fit in your dog, maby a fancy ingraving that could never come off that might make it seem more...yours,I think is the word I'm looking for.

Some cons- They have cyborg pups (wich all pros would apply to) so they would be half robot half dog. The full robots would have to be lubricated somehow... (maby a specal lubricator food, maby you'd have to get canned food everyonce in awhile) The dogs would take more effort to "Program" so it would take 5 training sessions to boost it somewere between 3.00 and 5.00 (depending on TP) Maby, there can be no cyborge to cyborge breeding, No robot to robot breeding, and no cyborge to robot breeding.

What would be the pros/cons of having a cyborg/robot dog, aside from just looks, which can be modified with a CAM?
