Theme of the Month: Art!
So I thought it would be really cute, since Alacrity is a site heavily based on art, to have a monthly theme of art things! Some ideas:
Accessories: Camera (hangs around dog's neck) Film Pencils/Paper Paint (splattered and in tubes?) Paint Splatters of different colors for on the dogs Paint Brushes (I think it would be really cool to have one hanging out of the dog's mouth) Sketches (doodly pieces of paper lying on the floor) Paint covered apron Tablet Framed Pictures Paint Paw Prints Pottery Items Sketch Dye (make the dogs look like a sketch or an outline when it's used?)
Backgrounds: Paint Splatter Background Art Studio Background Photography Studio Background Watercolor Background (some type of scenery, but looking like a watercolor portrait) Writer's Space Background (a desk, preferably messy! and whatever else fits with it) Art Gallery Background
Companions: I think Origami companions would be cute and fit in with this theme, but definitely willing to take other ideas :D
Please support and continue to add ideas :D When adding ideas please give me the category and if necessary a small description of what you think it should look like/fit in with the scenery :)
Of course a dog can't use a camera or anything :3 The whole idea is decor. ^^ There are other items on ala such as the Dao sword, for example, that the dogs wouldn't be using either xD These items are more for creating a scene then having the intention of making it seem like the dog will be using them.<br /> <br /> The exact way items are used is flexible, of course ^^ Being a photographer, though, I just named the way I'd personally like the camera, and I personally think it would be cute around the neck. If the dog's going to be assisting, why not carry the camera around their neck just as if a dog is assisting with carrying a backpack on a hike they'd have it on their back? <br /> <br /> :o I never thought of pottery items, that's a good idea. <br /> <br /> And Quagga I actually first though of sketch companions before origami, but a sketch dye would be really interesting! I'll add all these things to the list <3

What about a sketch-ish dye, or something like that? Where the dog isn't colored, but has little sketchy lines, as if it's in the process of being drawn and finished? Which may be a bit hard, though, since it's kinda already drawn...

origami companions!! love! ^_^<br /> <br /> other than that.. what about adding a few pottery themed things? whether it be the wheel, kiln or whatnot. foreground images of a few finished pottery pieces.. or broken pots xD

I think a tablet would be a fitting accessory, too. :) And maybe a finished and framed picture or two? Or they could be worked into the backgrounds.<br /> <br /> What about an art gallery background?<br /> <br /> Paw prints made out of pain? :P
