Change Chat B to Help Chat?
How about changing Chat B into a Help chat.
Perhaps ask the Newbie Helpers to hang out in there as well if they're going to be in chat, just to keep an eye on it - that way if someone wants to ask a question in a chat setting, they can go there.
Personally, I LOVE the issue hub, and it's a great place for more in-depth issues that need to be discussed, but it seems more and more people are adverse to using it, saying it's "faster" or "less confusing" to just use the chat. Having a (perhaps bolded and colored) link to a "HELP" chat would make a little bit of a difference - even if it's just a temporary trial period to see how that kind of thing works out for Ala.
I.. will say that I personally think people should just use the issue hub, but I don't think it could hurt to give the idea a chance and see if it works.

I have to agree with pom. Some users still don't remember how to switch chats, and a newbie won't understand either.

The point of the issue hub was to keep quesions out of chat, to make it clearer.

I remember on black friday last year, I had to help newbies for 5 hours all on my own. All I got were questions thrown at my fface everywhere I turned. The issue hub keeps it clean and a helper can't see they didn't see the question. I KNOW you can see the issue hub alert on the side.

Sooo.. no support :/

The problem with that is that a lot of newbies don't know how to go to main chat by socialize>chat to be able to get into the Help Chat properly and be able to post if they are using side chat if the chatroom was actually there. You see the issues with sales chat when people try to use the sidebar chat to post an ad.

And like I had said in chat the newbies will go and ask where ever they see other users talking and they won't use the help chat still.

That's just my opinion.

A trial period for it might work...but it has been brought up before and still not brought into play. I'm afraid that newbies would then spread their questions between 2 chats then instead of 1 and it would be too much for the NHs to keep up with :/

Not Chat B, since that is where people are told to hold Riddles and such. Maybe just make a whole new chat? But I really don't support. They'll just have to be patient with the Issue Hub.

Good Idea a question can get answered quickly and you wouldn't have to wait...I know I used to hate waiting for mine to get answered...
